What makes Village Car Wash different?
The University of Texas conducted a study that conclusively proved that your vehicle will look better and your finish will last much longer when you use a car wash that uses SoftCloth technology like we use at Village Car Wash. SoftCloth vehicle washing technology even rated higher than hand washing your car or truck yourself.
Some consumers believe that a "touchless" car wash is the safest, because they don't see anything touching their vehicle during the wash process. In fact, because there is nothing "touching" your vehicle, these car washes must use water pressures that are in excess of 1500 PSI and strong acid based chemicals to clean your vehicle.
Chemicals so strong that if you walked through the wash tunnel your eyes would water. These chemicals are not safe. They remove all of the wax on your painted surfaces every time you wash your vehicle and will eventually produce small cracks in your clear coat finish.
Village Car Wash uses safe and gentle Soaps and Waxes.
Harsh chemicals are not necessary in the automated washing and waxing process at Village Car Wash because of our SoftCloth technology. We use nothing but branded products such as Ecolab, Diamond Shine because of their focus on safety, best in the business, and environmental concerns. When you ask us to detail your vehicle we use only Meguiar's waxes and protectants. These products are the most expensive, but they are also the best we wouldn't use anything but Ecolab, Diamond Shine, and Meguiar's on our own vehicles. I wouldn't dream of asking you to either.
Village Car Wash Conveyorized Vehicle Movement System.
Village Car Wash uses a hydraulic conveyor which slowly moves your vehicle through the wash tunnel as it is being washed. It's something you can't really see because its underneath the ground, but it's a key part of our wash process. It was custom designed and installed for Village Car Wash by PECO Car Wash Systems.
The hydraulic conveyor system is special in many ways, but one of the most important benefits to our customers is that it pushes your vehicle through the wash tunnel by the rear wheels instead of pulling it through by the front wheels. Why is this important? Because pulling your vehicle through the wash tunnel by the front wheels could cause front end alignment problems. Pushing your vehicle, the way we do it at Village Car Wash is completely safe and will not harm your vehicle in any way.
It is more difficult and more expensive to design and install a "pushing type" conveyorized system, but it's the only way to go. Don't accept anything less.
